What Does American Psychology Say About Homosexuality?

Have done a little research on the American Psychological Association and their views on homosexuality [and transgender people].  Was interested to see what they had to say?  It seems they've mostly supported the American Psychiatric Association, from what I could see--no major differences.  [From a quick study.]

The trans laws have been going back and forth within the past seven or eight years, it seems.  Some people say it's good for discussion....

There was an article I found from 2011, written by a Ph.D. person and posted on a reputable American website--although they didn't necessarily support the views [PMC--PubMed Central].  This article promoted the idea of "developmental-psychological causation" of homosexuality, which was a point that came up in 1998 in my legal matters....  However, it seems to be an unpopular view in the world....  [I understand that and don't wish to debate it.]

If some of the police want to continue working on the LGBTQ rights, I'm sure they'd have enough work to do--for some time....  Points could be debated all over the place, I think?  And I don't believe I need to be caught up in it endlessly....

These are just a few comments.
