According to a little Internet research, the term "transsexual" is now under the category of "transgender."
The legal definitions of gender are: man, woman, and non binary. Binary means something to the effect of two categories existing, and the non binary means an alternate category. I understand the American psychiatrists refer to transgender people as having "gender dysphoria," which means they're dissatisfied or anxious about their gender at birth and the assumed roles of that gender....
Some other terms under transgender are: pangender, polygender, agender and genderqueer.
It seems the world has some kind of understanding of transgender people, although more work can be done...and in my opinion, the special police project doesn't need to work on this matter discreetly. As I said yesterday, I believe some police could work openly after a public news conference, if they wish to.
