Can We Get Past Some Prejudice?--Part 2

Continued from part 1, below.

The last I heard, the schools in the province of Ontario were following a philosophy called "humanism," which states that anything a human being--like a young student--can imagine or do is okay as long as it isn't hurtful to another person....  Something like that?  So, if I may say, all the transgender issues are acceptable to the public schools....  I've heard the schools are teaching about this subject within their sex education classes....  I don't think we can get away from it, if we want to...except maybe we can remove our children from these classes, which probably don't happen frequently within a school year?  Otherwise, I've read the American psychologists are encouraging each other to do public advocacy about transgender issues....  It may be the same in Canada, and other places?  This is a growing phenomenon.

In the 1990s, a psychologist named John Gray published a book called "Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus."  I believe I read the book at the time, although I don't remember everything.  Dr. Gray was bringing out some characteristics that might be typical for many men and women, and it's sometimes hard to understand each other...!  Afterwards, some other experts put Gray down and said we're all human beings, with the same needs and interests....  I think the experts were partly right, but Dr. Gray was partly right also--and I believe he meant to use some humour!?  Anyway, if we want to, I believe it's possible to study and understand human behaviour better....  There's information available, from many sources.  No one is forced to study, however, and if people are satisfied to go along with society they can do that....  As far as transgender issues go, people are taking them seriously....  

In Canada, we're starting to have some problems with our health care system, partly due to the pandemic but not completely.  As long as people have money--from somewhere--and have the procedures available, they can do sex changes....  And I believe it's best to accept these people and their wishes....  Like I've said, we can do something to look out for our own families, if we wish to....  Otherwise, it's good to be respectful.  

If some police could get past their own prejudice, it would help our project....  And I don't want to continue writing very much more, if I can help it?  The police can work on their own....  Will write separately about my hopes for this year....
