My Summary of Transgender Issues

My church allows transgender people into church membership if they're willing to abide by the moral standards--which means no sexual activities outside of marriage, and only heterosexual marriage is allowed.  I don't wish to debate anything further with my church.

Myself, I've seen that the Bible says this and that, and it can be used to support various views.  Generally, my church believes we should take the full Bible in context...but even then it's possible to get some support for non-binary and maybe transgender people, in my opinion....  Anyway, the public and even many Christians don't care so much about the Bible any more....

The human rights laws refer to "human dignity;" and I believe we should treat the trans and non-binary people with this quality.  We're all human beings and everyone wants to be treated with fairness and decency.

Also, I can make choices for my own life but can't choose for anyone else--not even if I had an under-aged child or children at home....

The helping professions, like medical people and social workers, have sometimes been accused of promoting transgender options aggressively for a monetary interest.  It's increased business for them!?  But I wish they would try to work with what is best for each of their patients or clients; and every person needs to make an effort to stand up for themselves and their interests.  Parents should also work with their under-age children, as far as possible.

[Have read or heard that men are generally left-brain oriented, which gives them an emphasis in logical reasoning; and it's their natural tendency to want to accomplish things--it's their main priority, unless they make a conscious effort to think differently.  And women are generally right-brain oriented, which has a tendency to make them emotional-thinkers; and their first focus is on relationships, including family....  It used to be that most women stayed home to raise the family while the husband and father went to work.  Now, a lot of women go to work also, and that's good and often necessary...but I think it makes the distinctions between men and women less clear...!?  I believe we'll continue to see non-binary and perhaps transgender people in our society.  Some non-binary people want to say they're superior to males and females but I don't think that's fair either.  We need to learn how to get along together.]
