"Keeping the Status Quo"

Have written before that it's been the general policy of the Province of Ontario to "Keep the status quo," from what I've seen. In gay issues, this would actually mean the gap between the "black" and "white" sides would be getting wider and wider, rather than coming together! So, they're creating a greater problem in the long run! The work I've been doing has been the opposite--to try to bring the two sides closer together--and I believe it's possible without compromising any significant values on either side!

The High IQ Society

Mentioned in an entry below--about whether or not my criminal charge(s) should remain in effect--that I was raised by genius "wolves"! There's a non-profit organization called "MENSA" which is for people with very high IQs--Intelligence Quotients. [There's an international office with branches in other countries.] Members of Mensa have to belong to the 98th percentile, or higher, of the IQs of the population--something like that!? The Mensa organization began at Oxford University in 1946, if I understand correctly. *** Haven't heard exactly how many of the police advisors may have belonged to Mensa; but if some of them have worked in not only one but numerous high-level positions--at the same time--in their careers, they've had to be quite intelligent, I believe! Some have had successful, professional careers and have also taught in universities. *** When I had psychological testing done around 30 years ago, the psychologist found me to be at the 98th percentile in general world knowledge. That wasn't my IQ, however, and I had been aware before then that my IQ wasn't in the "Genius" range. [Some people say, "Genius is 2% inspiration; and 98% perspiration!"--And I can understand what they mean.]

My Legal Restrictions

Have stated long ago, in this blog, that I have a few legal restrictions on my writing. Therefore, it hasn't always been easy to say what I might have said! But have been doing my best. When there's a lot of evidence in question, it can be easy to overlook something--even if I wanted to disclose my case in the best light possible! [For example, I've heard of family members of wrongfully convicted persons who were surprised they found good evidence which had been overlooked by the justice system--even though it was sitting in a box at a police station!--But it really takes a lot to go through evidence--and you want to know that someone is going to pay attention to it!] *** It's the job of defense attorneys, obviously, to make a defense but it seems even they can miss details--probably for many different reasons. [And it takes money to pay for services.]

God Created Adam and Eve...

Last year around Christmastime, I posted an entry about the Canadian Christian expression that "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!" I changed it to, "God created Adam and Eve, and Steve." Of course, Adam and Eve were created in a perfect condition, at the beginning. After they ate the forbidden fruit, they began to see signs of death and decay; and it was Cain who killed his brother Abel--children of Adam and Eve! But there is a possibility of redemption.--It's what we believe in the Christian faith. And that possibility is a hope for all individuals, regardless of who they are.... [Won't take time to explain this point further here. There's more information available--in many locations--if people wish to know about it.]

"Betty" and The Red Colour--part 2

In the film, Desperately Seeking Susan, from the early 1980s which I've written about before, a woman sort of "accidentally on purpose" got mixed up with the life of a woman named Susan. Some other people also mistook this lady for the Susan character, for a time. And Susan had people chasing her--a lot going on! In the end, it was the other woman who helped Susan escape and get away from the problems. *** My friend, the Queen Lady, hasn't made a lot of efforts to help me to my knowledge--although it's possible she acknowledged something recently to others who needed information. And she has purposely kept a distance from movies and TV. But it may be the Betty and Elizabeth storylines which are a help to me, like the "Betty Lou" movie seems to be! And as the Queen Lady's husband had said this past spring [about another Betty movie], "We don't know who 'Betty' from Deep River [Ontario] is!!!" So, the Queen Lady may not have been directly involved in the films--she likely wasn't. But there has been something happening with the Betty [and Elizabeth] names. [Elizabeth had also referred to Queen Elizabeth I of England, who was a promoter of theatre.]

Two Sides of the Coin...

Note about the Labels, 2023:  Many of my posts have been deleted earlier because they were out of date.  The posts under the New Insight and No Insight Labels aren't significant any longer, as far as I'm concerned, but the blog site isn't allowing me to make changes to the Labels unless I delete the posts individually and permanently.  I don't wish to delete all the affected posts, including this one....

PERSONAL LETTERS WHICH WERE [UNFORTUNATELY] CONNECTED TO THE LANDLORD/TENANT MATTER. They say it's better to keep business and personal matters separate--and keep them as far away as possible, especially if there's a controversial business matter going on!!! Even if they're not intended to be mixed together, it's possible for others to do so.--They can easily gain an advantage, if they're in a position to! [Oh, yes, I know about it.... Not to blame any particular individual.] *** My personal letters kind of became "community property" at the government agency where they were [unfortunately] sent to! Have written somewhat about this matter earlier, in this blog. And just now, I've remembered another issue in the letters which likely caused friction [for any number of people]. The issue was that I stated I had become interested in attending law school to become a lawyer! *** In 2000/2001, a movie "Legally Blonde" was produced and released. It was about a young woman who first decided to go to law school to impress her boyfriend! [Fictional story, of course.] In my case, I certainly wasn't meaning or trying to impress anyone--I just had a serious interest for many reasons, which came to a head at the time.--And my interest wasn't directly connected to the landlord/tenant case, for the record! [Since then, I've had a lot of help from lawyers at legal clinics and from the Ontario Human Rights Commission. I didn't need to have a lawyer and didn't need to be one, for that purpose!] *** Will be discussing the above matter, about the law school comments, with my official sources. There are some legal restrictions on my writing, which I have to abide by, also. But again, would like to emphasize that nobody should jump to any conclusions!--There were many parties involved in my concerns, at the time, and many of them still seem to be! [There are new ones, if they're not all the same.] *** There have been numerous concerns about discrimination, if not sexual harassment. [And I have some legal action in progress, at this time.] With broad laws around these types of points, it may be possible to make a case--or some parties will be negotiated with to help them understand more clearly! [Sometimes people do wrong without realizing it!--You never know--there are all kinds of issues which come up! And I'm not blaming any particular individual, as I've said.] This is actually a complicated matter--lots of details to be addressed!

Recognizing Past and Present Sacrifices

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, when we stop to think of the sacrifices of military people in protecting their country. In the current war effort, have seen some statistics published which showed that a very small percentage of Canadians have lost their lives, so far. But their pay was also published.... War isn't a very nice subject to deal with, for sure; but then again, we can't afford to ignore the need for defending our land. In my opinion, we certainly need to be grateful to the military and also to be supportive, as far as possible--and supportive outside of immediate war efforts [like injured veterans, their families, etc.].

Gay Seniors

Have recently read an article from a local newspaper about gay and transgendered seniors who are having a hard time. There was also a film produced in the USA about this subject. In Canada, the legalizing of gay marriage hasn't taken away all the prejudice around homosexuality [and it probably won't]. Some seniors who were "out" earlier have gone back into "the closet" because they're afraid of prejudice and discrimination among their caregivers. It's also common that gays have been alienated from their families; and they may not have children to care for them. It's a sad situation! But one suggestion made was that these seniors should have a support network among themselves.--They could relate to others who live with the same circumstances. It's also difficult because these people grew up in a time that was a lot less accepting of homosexuality, even if they found some relief later on. As for the rest of us, we can consider if enough has yet been done to improve the lives and living conditions of gays? [Should we sit back and say we're done?]

1968 Films

With a quick review at this time, have noticed there were a number of significant films for the gay rights project which came out in 1968: ****************** Finian's Rainbow, ********************* The Green Berets, ****************** The Producers, ****************** The Green Slime,********************* The Party,****************** The Lion in Winter. ********** An actress, Lee Phillip, introduced Finian's Rainbow at one of the opening events. Ms. Phillip, along with her husband Bill Bell, created "The Young & Restless" daytime TV series. *** Also, my uncle's family had moved near a policeman's family--where they lived for about 10 years--in 1967. *** [It's possible I don't have all the 1968 films listed here but these are some, for now.--Just thought it was interesting.]

Criticism from Christians

If some Christians think the gay rights project--with connections to Hollywood--is too frivolous, they should consider that the reason things happened was because Christians weren't doing enough to begin with! [If anyone would like to express specific concerns to me, they're welcome to do so! Maybe I could help them understand how they could be more helpful, as individuals!?]

He Made a Difference

The life of John Forbes Nash, Jr., and the movie, "A Beautiful Mind" raise a lot of questions around the use of psychiatric medications! Apparently, the film differed from the original biography on that point. An Internet write-up links to an article from a reputable American newspaper which discusses research and experience from a number of trusted sources, including the World Health Organization and Harvard University. *** John Nash was a genius mathematician who suffered from schizophrenia during part of his life. He made efforts to recover; and he won a Nobel Prize and other awards. He also received honourary doctorate degrees. *** Myself, I don't agree with diagnoses which have been made against me in the past 4-5 years; but IF I had a problem, there would be legitimate and scientific arguments against taking the medications offered [or attempted to be forced], in my opinion.

Evidence for Today

Fortunately, I have a little more time on another computer today! Will do my best to write what's needed. *** Had tried to avoid giving out some evidence which points to the "Queen Lady." Was afraid it might help to identify her location but since I've already explained about the "back-to-the-land" issue, I suppose my friend and her husband could be living anywhere in a country area! And I'm not going to worry about my original concern. [Also, I believe the evidence is needed.] *** There was a movie, "The Watcher in the Woods," 1980/81, by the Walt Disney company, I believe. It was actually based on a novel from 1976. The main storyline has to do with an elderly mother getting in touch with her long-lost daughter from the past. There are some "supernatural events" involved; and as I've stated before, I'll consider the story to be just fictional entertainment in this case. [Even though there are arguments to be made--from different points of view--about supernatural events and beings.] *** If I recall from watching the film [and I have a copy at home], the family of a concert pianist was involved in the story!? The pianist, himself, was away travelling a lot, if I also recall.--He wasn't very prominent. But it's another "piano story!" *** The "watcher" wasn't actually the old woman, but it was a supernatural force of some kind. [And the daughter was rescued from the force, which had taken her away 30 years earlier!] Maybe one of the things that needs to happen is that all of us need to be in touch with reality--the real facts--and to make sure we can separate from the fictional stories/film projects, etc.!? *** Will continue writing some more separately. [There's a lot to interpret, for sure! Am not sure I can cover everything in a limited time!?]

"WWJD?"--part 2

If Jesus was on the earth today, would He minister to gays and AIDS victims and speak for gay rights? I believe He would. Most people probably wouldn't disagree, if they thought about it. Christians have many kinds of charitable and mission work to do--not everyone necessarily has to work with gays. But as I've mentioned, I hope conservative Christians wouldn't criticize or block the efforts of others!? *** If there's an association with film/television, it doesn't mean the gay issues are any less significant! And it's the message that's the most important. In entertainment, there happens to be a wider audience. And entertainment may be the field that some of the parties work in--and there seems to have been an original agreement or partnership with them. Doesn't the Bible also say the "weak and foolish things of the world will confound the wise"--something like that!?

"WWJD?"

Not too many years ago there was a slogan, WWJD?--"What Would Jesus Do?" Looking in the Bible, Jesus healed people at times. One man was healed when Jesus told him his sins were forgiven! Did Jesus understand a connection between stress and poor health? I think so! And how did He know the man was suffering from guilt!? He must have studied the matter, one way or another!? Jesus also healed lepers--the outcasts of society, at the time. Are AIDS victims the outcasts of society today? And Jesus was criticized for healing someone on the "Sabbath day." The Sabbath was supposed to be a day of rest and worship. But Jesus said it was acceptable to do good works on the Sabbath! *** Any practical help towards gays may help with their souls, in the end. It's not that everyone will become Christian; and we don't have to expect they will! But some will be inspired and blessed by God!--I believe that. *** Maybe Hollywood people have had a chance to study and understand these types of matters!? There have also been university professors, doctors, and lawyers advising in the gay rights project. Should we scoff at or deny the efforts of others because their methods are different from ours?

Preaching The Gospel vs. Practical Religion vs. Gay Rights

It's fine to think about preaching the gospel; and Christians should do that. Then, what about the practical religion which is described in the Bible, Isaiah 58? It says true religion is expressed by helping others--partly with practical help! We should give out "bread to the hungry" and provide for physical necessities, where needed. And the passage says things like, "Loose the bands of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, break every yoke, let the oppressed go free...." [Don't have my Bible with me at the moment.--Can't quite quote everything I'd like to.--Was looking it up this morning.] These phrases refer to more than our daily necessities--except that maybe freedom is a necessity!?? We should be free from unreasonable "oppression." *** Gays may have issues that conservative Christians haven't considered before: they've been blocked from renting residences, at times; they haven't been able to go to some social events with their partners; and they may or may not be allowed to settle down in a permanent home with a like partner. Gays have also had higher addiction and suicide rates; and I wonder how mental illness has been associated with homosexuality? Christians know about poverty vs. wealth. But we may take for granted a lot of privileges we've enjoyed for generations, which have been denied to gays and/or gay couples. [Ouch! And some Christians still can't stand to hear about "gay couples"!?--And that's another story....] *** My computer time is limited--as it often is--but I wish Christians would learn to consider that even if they don't have a need or interest in getting involved in gay issues, they shouldn't knock others who do??? And there may be more "missionary work" involved in gay issues than they've realized!? *** Read a church magazine article about a pastor from my church who has been an AIDS volunteer for several decades. He had a lot of interesting and heartbreaking stories to tell! And that's another topic also....

What are "Gay Rights"?

Do some Christians see gay rights as pertaining to mundane, practical matters in life? To "earthly" problems? Or gays don't deserve rights? Why don't we just "preach the gospel" and get ready for heaven--then none of these things will be important!? Some Christians may be so busy in their own lives that these matters don't concern them. They have their families, careers, church activities, and other interests! And if people are already busy, that's fine! But maybe conservative Christians shouldn't knock others who are trying to be helpful!? *** Don't we do charity work providing food, clothing, and shelter to the poor? Should we worry about these kinds of ordinary things??? We help with practical necessities because it may eventually bless the souls of the persons helped, I believe.--They have a better chance in life, including in their spiritual lives!?

Christian Issues

Have seen that I need to work on Christian views a little more, at this time. Conservative Christians aren't as interested in Hollywood stories, of course, and that's fine. Do they think they need to be involved in a "gay rights project" which is associated with film/TV people? They may not think so, although there have been some comments here and there--some were more positive, some were more negative. Do Christians need to support "gay rights" at all??? That's an issue to look at; and I hope to deal with it.

A Canadian Banker

If I recall correctly from past Internet research, it was a Canadian banker who was one of the most prominent promoters of gay marriage in the Canadian Parliament not too many years ago!? The man wasn't speaking for his bank but had gone into politics, I believe. And he brought out some good points, which I won't explain here at this time. *** Just find it interesting to make these connections now!

The U.S.S.S. and Bankers

The United States Secret Service began with financial and banking concerns; and some bankers--maybe the major ones--have been somewhat aware of the U.S.S.S. involvement in the gay rights project, it seems. *** Have been acquainted with a former banker, myself, but I've unfortunately heard different rumours which didn't make me feel better! He has allegedly been involved at several levels of the gay rights project; and I'm not sure he's hoping for a positive outcome--or if he's one who wants to close things down without acknowledging the past activities and concerns!? Will be working on these issues.... [This will be a serious issue, since this person was given a lot of authority, I've heard. And I can take steps to do my own publicity....] *** There's a good movie which I always enjoyed seeing, ever since the first time I saw it. Have I mentioned "Shawshank Redemption" 1994, in this blog? It's a story about a "mild-mannered" banker who was falsely accused and sent to prison! It's quite interesting! [And the story of "mild-mannered" men is another issue...!] *** Unfortunately, my computer time is limited today, as it often is. [Will work on that matter also.]

The "Nurse Hollywoods"

Wherever there are doctors, there are usually nurses!? And if there's a "Doc Hollywood," it's fairly sure there are "Nurse Hollywoods" [how many?]! It's too bad they're not all knowledgeable about the matter, however! Or they may have a little knowledge [and it's not always a good thing]! Well, we're trying to make progress, somehow!?

Professional Wrongdoing and Inappropriate Behaviour Isn't Acceptable

The real-life "Doc Hollywood" person whom I've first written about was never directly involved in my medical/psychiatric care. There are other doctors and professionals, however, who want to associate themselves with the fictional "Finian," at times, and I think they should be careful regarding their own professional qualifications! Should these people be allowed to get away with wrong-doing and accusing me falsely--just for the sake of a show and the gay rights project!? They seem to be on thin ice, in my view; and I'm not referring to my interests but to theirs! *** Well, we'll be hashing out some matters in the near future. And a legal process is a constructive way to handle disagreements, for sure! [For the record, I've had many kinds of professional people to deal with--some more often than others!...]

Landlord/Tenant Issue--once more [Part 2]

EVICTION OR AGREEMENT? Did I actually get evicted because of tobacco smoke? No. And technically, I wasn't evicted but made an agreement with my landlord to move out. However, the agreement was made with the real possibility of an eviction order being granted.--I was under duress, or whatever; and I was more or less evicted. [For the record, it wasn't clear what ruling might have been given but there was a good probability of an official eviction--a 50/50 chance, at least. The fact was I made an agreement; and the housing documents showed that it was what happened. My case also would have been less flexible in the future if I'd been legally evicted. There would have been less chance of an appeal, although I wasn't aware at the time.] *** When I was studying about law school a while ago, I heard that "contract law" was the most complicated area of law! And I've since seen that there can be many, many problems which come up even in what seem to be simple transactions!

Landlord/Tenant Issue--once more!

TOBACCO SMOKE. Have I left out the part where a guest of mine was smoking* in my apartment--once? Yes, it was claimed by my landlady that smoking was a problem! But do people get evicted for causing one problem, one time? Or is there an opportunity for correction and forgiveness? There was supposed to be! My landlady claimed that my guest went to the yard to smoke later--maybe one other time?--and that smoke came in through her windows. However, she could have told me about it but failed to do so! [It's interesting that some people just want to complain to authorities without giving people a chance to respond or make corrections!?] *** The smoking was a very minor matter, in my opinion, considering that it happened so briefly. Normally, I don't care for tobacco smoke and I'm aware it's not healthy. [But you can't always cut people off.--Although since then, I've decided to be more health-conscious and to demand it from friends in my home.] *** *The guest sat beside an open window in the summertime.--That's why it didn't bother me so much personally, at the time.

Aiming High--and Higher

Have seen evidence that a nurses' association has supported the "Queen lady." The "Queen" actually wasn't a qualified nurse--only an aide. [I have a sister and close cousin who are registered nurses.] If the nurses want to support gay rights, that's fine. *** In 2005/2006, I told my friend about the movie issues. And I even sent her a copy of one called "Road to Perdition," 2002. Don't have time to explain all the details right now but I believe it's relevant.--And it's not that we have to be threatening hellfire and damnation around the moral issues! But I guess someone had a negative view of some relevant activities!?--And they gave out certain details. My friend had mentioned something to me this year about how she'd like to be able to afford a newer vehicle--for a change. [Their house has already been improved--if I may say so.] And this lady is a country person! She has done well to be a "pioneer"--with improvements to their property, over time. *** When my friend's family and friends were in the process of getting started with their "back to the land" activities, they read a famous quotation in a book which said something to the effect that if you "build a better mousetrap," the world will come to you--even if you're living in the woods! And in this lady's case, I think people would almost have to meet her where she is--and she wouldn't be capable of going much further!? [With or without a new vehicle.] I've known this lady for many years--for decades. [Maybe she's had things to say about me!?--Okay.] *** This lady isn't educated or sophisticated in any sense. Am sorry. And it seems the Quebec Italians [police] have gone through northern Ontario [up the Ottawa River and across to North Bay...]. Then some southern Ontario police have helped them--with secondhand information, etc. The really smart police are the ones who help the Americans--the smart Americans! [And they haven't wanted to expose what they were doing, so far.--Not very much.] *** Anyway, there's still a lot to sort out...! [We'll get there--I hope so!] Some parties were aware of a few million dollars which had been given or promised to someone. And I'm not sure if some parties were fighting over it!? But those few millions are peanuts, I'm sure! This isn't a million-dollar matter but closer to a billion-dollar one, I believe. [Not that any individual will necessarily collect a billion dollars.--Then again, you never know!?] And somebody may collect money for a new vehicle plus some more to spare.--But it's not what I'm aiming for! [There's a lot more at stake, financially and otherwise.--That's my firm belief.]

What Kind of "Poster Girls"?--II

There's another movie about women dancing which came out within the past year or so. From my side, I can say I didn't ask for or approve of this kind of thing. And it comes back to the concept of understanding the difference between fiction and reality; and some people may express their views and opinions--according to their view of life--and it may be their right to do so!? If there's actual libel, in a legal sense, then it would be dealt with by legal means. [Some of us haven't had a lot of money for courts and lawyers; and publicity is another means of making change.] *** The bottom line is: Don't blame me for every kind of film/TV show that's produced! [And don't blame the other "poster girl."--I hope not!?] *** Also, if Christian people have approved of a project with Hollywood, they're going to have to allow the film people to do their work! [None of us needs to be in the dark about what kind of work they normally do.] And the truth and error will be sorted out, in time, if necessary. *** [Have stated I didn't especially care for the Chicago film.--And the truth is I watched a lot of it in the Fast Forward "SEARCH" mode.--I didn't listen to all the conversation or watch all the dancing! But I have my own copy, which I bought on sale; and it's often as cheap to buy copies as to rent them!--Then I can look back, if necessary, or use them for evidence to show others. In the case of the other film, I haven't seen it at all and haven't planned to. It also hasn't been very popular with the public, it seems.--Maybe somewhat.]

What Kind of "Poster Girls"?

Will try to make some comments within a limited amount of Internet time. Have made an effort to defend the "Queen lady" to media sources, as far as saying that many film stories have been greatly exaggerated. Also, I've said that we've more or less been friends over the years [off and on]. After this woman's second marriage, she and her husband moved to a country location to do "back to the land" living. The concept interested me since another family from my church had previously moved away to build their own log home [not a commercial one]; and they had none of the modern conveniences--no hydro or automatic plumbing. It was also somewhat of a community project and other church members went to assist if they were able to. [And after my first year of college, I travelled around Europe and was privileged to visit a large organic farm.--It was very educational and was an amazing experience.] *** The above woman was a young widow when she first came to my home town. I believe she had wanted to earn some extra money by being involved in the gay rights project. *** Have commented to my business sources numerous times that this lady and myself were like "poster girls" for the gay rights project. [It wasn't my choice!] And maybe it's time to acknowledge it!? It's a story [even if a false one] which has been told to the public and to some Christians. I believe it was somewhat of a cover for the real activities that were going on. *** Have to say that some chiefs of police have apparently promoted the "sister" story!? And they seemed to believe in it!? But no, I'm sorry the stories were only promotional.--They weren't based in reality. [The stories were promoting the gay rights project.] *** There's a movie, Chicago, 2002, which tells about two female performers.--Two criminal performers, whatever. It's a show about dancing and it's not my usual taste. [And it may be somewhat based on a true story--a different one--if I recall, but I believe it points to the above matter.] It also seems that the Chicago Police have sometimes been telling what the Canadian and "Metropolitan Police" have been doing!?--The Chicago Police have had connections to the film industry!

"The Irish Boy"--update

May have mentioned earlier that the "Irish boy" has apparently been living in a northern part of this province--relatively far away from the main population. And it seems he has been there for a long time. If the parties really wanted him to be involved, would they have let him go there [or sent him]??? No, I believe it was convenient for the gay rights project that this man was out of the way. And they didn't especially want him to be involved--although he was apparently given some kind of authority!? *** Myself, it's not that I have anything against him. I don't think people should speak bad things about him; but I also understand why some parties wanted to keep him at a distance. And maybe he has mostly done enough? Anyway, I don't know if it's possible for him to get a handle on everything when he lives in an isolated area and hasn't seemed to make the rights efforts to get connected!? *** Will write something separately about the "Queen Lady." [And apparently, the "Irish boy" and/or his associates have continued to promote her.]

In Spite Of The "Rats"

Some people have been indicating they didn't want to support "Doc Hollywood"--because there was too much of a "rat" factor involved!!! But at least some of these people still wanted to support the gay rights project and/or the issues!? And I can sympathize with their concerns. In my case, however, I'm still in a place where I have to acknowledge the "Doc" with my official contacts!--And some of them would prefer not to admit anything was going on at all! The bottom line is that if I want to support the gay rights project, I have to support this doctor. Can say in his defence that he doesn't necessarily know or approve of everything that's going on!? And some of us have been trying to settle something--it's still in progress. So, we all hope the final end will be a reasonable one--in one way or another! [The "rats," or even a big one, will also be a matter to be dealt with!--They may be a separate subject!? Am trying to sort it out.]

A Rat Song--1972

A reason that I got disconnected from Michael Jackson's music when I was young was that I found out the "Ben" song was about a rat! On the radio, it sounded like a beautiful song describing friendship; and I was disappointed--I thought, "Oh, it's about a rat!" It was apparently taken from a movie by the same name; and the movie was a sequel to another rat movie the year before. [These movies came out in 1971 and 1972.] *** The first movie, "Willard," was about a young adult man who lived at home with his ailing mother. Uh huh.... The Ben name is a common one, and it's Jewish, and it's connected to some prominent pioneer names in my home town! Well, rats...? I guess there are all kinds of them! Some are real, some are figurative. And I guess we have to determine when prejudice is justified--and we may not all agree!? [The rats in the films have also been compared to "Mickey Mouse" rats!] *** My computer time is limited and I don't have much time left, right now. *** For the record, would like to say Michael Jackson was very young, himself, when the Ben song was performed. [I don't think he came up with the entire concept on his own!]
NOTE, added in March 2023:  I believe some of these rats in film have been a reference to the special police project--it was like a joke, although sometimes truth is spoken in jest....

My Favourite Show! [one of them]

A week or two ago, I saw a "Simpsons" episode from 1997. Homer met and became friends with a gay man for the first time--without realizing it right away. When he understood the truth, of course various antics followed! At the end of the show, some large credits acknowledged steelworkers of America; and there was encouragement to the effect of following their rainbow!? *** Have been aware that a steel mill town in the province of Ontario was involved in the gay rights project. And it's possible and likely steel mill towns elsewhere are involved, also!? [Did I hear Michael Jackson's father used to be a steelworker in a factory? Someone can correct me if I'm mistaken.]

Looking Back

Would like to acknowledge that Michael Jackson died a year ago today. It was so sudden and was a shock to many people! Some have seen the movie or video which was made of his practice sessions for the new tour he was planning to do. Myself, I haven't been able to watch it yet--even though I've seen DVD copies for sale in the stores! [I haven't been prepared to see it.] *** Jackson's security guards who have been with him for the past 20 years or so have been writing a book and/or doing interviews. To them, it didn't seem Michael had the best life. But those men weren't with him during the 10-20 years before then either!? Anyway, I don't want to rehash the details now. *** Maybe it's fair to say that Jackson's life was unique; and he had an influence--mostly positive--on many people!? [Not to leave out his children; and they've appreciated him. And I hope they're doing well.]

Prejudice to Overcome

On the cover of the DVD, "Doctor Detroit" is swinging on a large chain. And at the bottom, there's a subtitle that says, "They're making the world safe...for insanity!" The film being made in about 1983, especially, I assume the chain referred to a certain Bible text? And homosexuality was referred to as insanity? [There weren't many direct references to homosexuality in the film--one or two, that I recall.] *** Sorry I don't have time to look up any exact texts, right now. But a verse in the New Testament of the Bible says something about "promising liberty, while they themselves are servants [of corruption]." When I was a teenager, there were slogans like "Be free," and, "Do your own thing!" Young people didn't want to follow rules; and some were addicted to illegal drugs. "Freedom" was the thing--and so was addiction! *** There's another verse in the Bible that says, "You shall know the truth; and the truth shall set you free." Is there anything wrong with truth that sets people free??? There's also a slogan that says, "Knowledge dispels fear." Maybe if people had a little knowledge--the right facts--about homosexuality, they wouldn't have to be so afraid of it!? That is, they wouldn't have to be afraid of dealing with homosexual people or of letting them deal with their necessary issues. Being in denial and covering up problems isn't usually the best thing. There's also a verse in the Bible that says, "[Jesus] came so that [people] might have life; and have it more abundantly!" Don't we all want "abundant life"? To live to the fullest? Should we deny it to some people? Well, the world has changed a little since 1983--but not everyone has! *** God gives everyone a choice of how they want to live.--He hasn't createad us like robots--although He could have! If some people don't have enough rights and freedom to make their choices, how can they live a healthy and functional life--let alone to appreciate and accept spirituality in their lives!? The Bible says a lot about tolerance and forgiveness--and it's not up to us to judge others' progress.

Another Song

Have seen that some African-Americans have a very strong, Christian faith; and some have supported the gay rights project. The majority of these people must have descended from the slaves who got freed. And discrimination against blacks in the USA has been an issue compared to gays who were trying to break free from discrimination. Haven't had a chance to travel there much; but have seen at least one, black, Christian pastor speaking on TV and telling about how the slaves composed and sang the negro spirituals! These songs must have really been heartfelt, at the time! [I can sympathize a certain amount!] And I believe the faith of the slaves helped them survive--and they eventually got free! Some were strong and brave to escape, themselves; and they helped others escape. And then there was a war which helped the rest get free. *** My computer time is limited this week. But wanted to say I believe it's possible to be free from discrimination against gays. Some Christians have been prejudiced, and others have been prejudiced; and some aggressive gays and their supporters have interfered in the efforts of others to become free....

Another Irishman [half- ]

As incredible as it may seem to me, some authorities actually wanted to know if I had lied to my husband about past relationships when we got married!? The answer was, no! I believe my now late, ex-husband's police friends didn't have concerns [but some people did]. *** Even though he had problems with alcohol and whatnot, my husband always had a good heart--he was generous and helpful; and he had supported the gay rights project--possibly from many years before we got married [although he didn't tell me about it directly]!? His parents had also been involved with police, either through employment or by fostering children through the Children's Aid Society. Maybe some people wanted to know if I'd be a credible supporter of the gay rights project--or was I dishonest person? And I guess some concerns have been answered! *** Have written earlier that my husband's birth mother's family was from Ireland. [The families of my husband's adoptive parents were from Great Britain--England and Wales.]

The "Irish Boy"

If the Irish boy began telling his stories--with or for police--in 1972, it seems there were other boys who were telling stories about him! He may not know what they've told; and the stories may or may not be true [by the time they've been told in film]! *** On my side, I was actually 6 years old when I last saw the Irish boy in the neighbourhood where my parents owned their first home. [I had my 7th birthday shortly after we moved.] But it turned out the Irish boy was acquainted with one of our new neighbours--have I mentioned it here before? And I didn't know there was any connection at all! So, our new neighbour had been telling stories to police--a number of years later; and one of our family friends had heard something at the public high school where he went--he also told something. [It was like a teen-age soap opera, I guess!?] *** The other stories were more significant after the mix-up in 1975.--People were taking any alleged relationship very seriously! [And it was even more of a soap opera, apparently!?] *** As I've said, the matters have been investigated; and some authorities really wanted to know what was true, among all the stories! I believe the concerns have been put to rest now. It has been a very serious matter for some people.

Supporters

Besides police and film/TV people, there have been musicians, professional sports teams or athletes, and business owners--of small and large businesses--supporting the gay rights project. And if they didn't provide financial contributions, business owners have shown "moral support." [Some athletes or teams have sponsored movies.] If people keep their eyes open around them, they may start to understand more!

They Told Me to Take Notes!

In about 2003, I received prompting from some of my sources to take notes on some TV shows and movies. So, I began doing that. When I spoke to people I knew later, I told them I was "doing research." I guess some people weren't impressed!? It was a joke to them? A Canadian movie, "Zeyda and the Hitman," 2004, filmed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, showed a young man who wanted to become an actor. He was a sloppy and lazy "couch potato" who liked watching TV; and he said he was "doing research!" Anyway, that wasn't the way I did my research! And I still have some notes; and I've done a lot more research--from TV and elsewhere--since then. [Just in case anyone wonders where I get my information from!?] {The above film was sold as "Running with the Hitman" in the USA.} For the record, I was also doing a lot of writing for other people besides taking my own notes.

The Scottish

It's not enough to let the Irish--and friends--work things out for themselves!? The Scottish--some of them--had to get involved; and they'd prefer to shut things down? I don't know, it seems to me something is wrong here! [It's not a recent development.] *** I'm at a point now where I may have to fold my hands and say, "I'm done." I can't continue in the way I've been going. Lawsuits aren't worthwhile because they'd take another 5-10 years out of my life! *** I wish everyone could see all the police who are involved and what their activities are!

A Doctor and A Lawyer [--Maybe a Cop]

If it's not enough that the "Doc Hollywood" doctor has been pretty much allowed to do what he's wanted to this far, he and/or his local police friends in Whitby or other officials have taken it on themselves to speak to my lawyer behind my back, also! It's obvious because my lawyer and I have discussed this doctor; and the doctor's views seem to prevail--even though he's not directly involved in my care at the hospital or in the hospital records, that I know of! And why would my lawyer first tell me, "You and [the doctor] should get along just fine [since you're both working on gay rights]!?" And after I explained there are different views possible; and I gave some other opinions about the doctor, my lawyer told me at the following appointment that, "[The doctor] doesn't want to support gay rights any more than you do!"--And it was again somewhat presumptuous to say that.--If I'm not completely for the cause, it doesn't mean I'm completely against it either! It's been typical of some parties involved that if they didn't get their way, they were ready to "Throw the baby out with the bath water." They'll sweep everything under a carpet and pretend nothing has been going on! And they expect me to do the same!? Someone has referred to the gay rights project as a "millionaires' hobby" in the recent past. The civilian advisors are highly-educated and successful, professional people. But what about the rest of us--and screenwriters, not to mention other filmmakers? Are we going to roll over because the "heat" is getting too uncomfortable for some who are obstinate and skeptical? No, I don't think so! *** The clincher is that if I made some sexual comments--even for a joke--after I was provoked--over 11 years ago, some people want to say, "Why don't you be a good, little woman and go along with the normal business these men are doing?" Should I have to put up with this--any more??? *** It's the usual policy of my lawyer in this matter to follow the instructions of his clients. They have a choice in certain parts of the ordinary processes. But I'm almost wondering if I'll get a fair chance--and I'll certainly have to speak up at the hearing, if necessary! [I was already ripped off by a Legal Aid lawyer in my first criminal trial; and I don't plan to let it happen again! If my lawyer doesn't serve me, I'll fire him!]

It's Not Just My Church!

Wanted to acknowledge that besides people from my church--past or present--there have been local business people who have been involved in the gay rights project, also. [Some local ones and some further away!] Am still learning more about them, myself; and some had a direct connection to me earlier, although not all of them did. *** Heard a story from the early 1970s that someone had an idea for different parties involved--including police--to compete with each other!? And it may have been helpful to get things going? But there has been a point where I've said it should be time to cooperate and not to compete!? However, if people haven't all been directly connected with each other it's been hard for them to know everything that was going on, I guess! Maybe we'll get there, one of these days? Some of the "storylines" may have been competing with others?--Haven't quite figured it all out yet!?

Speaking of Canadians...

If I said a long while ago that Canadians were disinterested in further gay rights, after gaining gay marriage already, I think I was mistaken. May have said within some other entries in this blog that Canadians have generally been generous towards the needs of the world; and I've seen that there's hope, after all! From what I heard, some other countries had asked for the help of Canadians with the gay rights project. Could we have said no, especially when other countries or their citizens helped get Canada started? [Like Loyalists from America and support from England; and how did we get our railways built (in some places)?] And other countries have also helped with the gay rights project--sometimes they've kept going when Canadians or Americans were lagging behind! But in the end, I believe there's something to be accomplished. It's not always easy--what is?--and I believe in Canadians.

Truth or Fiction?

Last summer, a certain movie was released in theatres. I had only seen short TV commercials promoting it; and I assumed it was a fictional story. And I even wondered if some people were making fun of me!? It turns out the film was based on a true story, which was partly based on another true story [about other events]. A lady had been writing a blog and then published a book based on the blog; and the film was the first one that was ever based on a blog [or on the book, or whatever]! I think it's pretty neat, although I'm still not trying to get a book or movie from my blog! About a year or more ago, there was talk that some people thought I was inventing a "show" to try to impress people!? But it wasn't true. One purpose of my blog was to help other people understand what was going on; and another purpose has been to try to keep my head above water, in all my legal circumstances! *** Have found an old movie, "Meet John Doe" [fictional], 1941, where a newspaper reporter printed a fake, sensational story to try to increase her ratings before getting laid off. And it worked! She kept her job and there was a lot of publicity, for different causes. But this lady had admitted to her employer at the beginning--but after the article was printed--that she made the story up. Her boss and others continued promoting the story; and they even found an unsuspecting person to portray the individual who had allegedly been involved in the story! There were various adventures and misadventures and I haven't watched the entire film but have read about most of it on the Internet. *** If the Betty/Elizabeth person needed to add some "interesting" details to keep things going in the late 1970s, I think they're not necessary by this time. There were complications in the '70s for a number of reasons. But there are more and more individuals with lots of true, interesting things to say who have had an interest in the gay rights project.--And they were involved earlier but weren't recognized as well.--Maybe they needed someone to coordinate the efforts--to really coordinate them, that is!? So, that's what I've been working on; and I believe some people wanted my help!? If there have been controversies, I think we have to come back to the fact that these days people aren't as opposed to homosexuality any more.--Although it's not to say we can excuse and condone the subject completely. And we can work out the issues, if there have been misunderstandings and objections.

The "Uninvited" in Past Hollywood Days!?

If anyone had the impression gay women were left out of Hollywood stories or the gay rights project in past decades, I don't think it was completely true? Most of the stories weren't openly gay, anyway--and neither were the people! There was a female writer who was involved in the gay rights project--directly or indirectly. [She was a published author and isn't alive any more. Am not saying she was gay--I have no knowledge of it--not exactly. I don't know! She was single all her life and adopted a child.] Have had a very busy day today and just wanted to write another short note. There used to be mostly men in the workplace--especially among police and military [it may still be that way?]; and the gay issues would apply to women as well as men.--Increased rights and knowledge would have been a help to both men and women, of course. [Will try to do a little more research when I have time, if possible.]

It's [partly] About The Children!?

Something I've mentioned in my business report but not in this blog is the fact that gay couples aren't able to have their own, natural children between them. So, although other arrangements can be made--and there are suffering children and orphans in the world who need help--gay marriage isn't equal to traditional marriage when it comes to childbearing.  *** This is a quick note for now. [Have other plans for the day which were scheduled earlier.--Sorry, I have to run.]

The Queen Lady--2010

Is there a story somewhere about a "lady who wanted to be queen"? What about a lady who wanted someone ELSE to be queen--a particular person who wasn't interested!? [And she promoted her over and over!?] Am not sure where it came from but there's a slang word of "queen" which refers to a gay person. [It's possible the term is derogatory also but I'd say it's comparable to the use of the "pig" term to represent police in film!?--The meaning may not always be a negative one.] And there have been many stories, within the gay rights project, of how the "princess became the queen!" At best, they're sentimental hype, in my opinion. [If people didn't understand what the stories referred to in real life, the commercial films may not have been objectionable to viewers otherwise!?] *** As far as I'm concerned, the police and their contacts can say what they want to about the Betty/Elizabeth person as long as they don't say incorrect things about me or my writing with it!? [Except there's one issue that I'm not sure the lady took on the Betty/Elizabeth names appropriately or legally? And if the names have been used interchangeably between us--in film--it could be another matter to sort out yet?--If it becomes a problem?] So far, I haven't included a label to identify the Betty/Elizabeth stories together because I was trying to avoid unnecessary embarrassment. But I've also notified the parties involved--a number of months ago already--and have given them opportunities to provide explanations or apologies. From what I've seen, there have been none! It's also a fact that I've mentioned the term "sexual harassment" at times in the past [whether it was over male or female issues]. Am not a lawyer but if there have been those types of concerns, loosely speaking, then they shouldn't be ignored! It's also true that "prevention is better than cure;" and in my case, I don't need any major setbacks.--It's better to do what I can, while I can! And I'll make a label to include the Betty/Elizabeth issues which I've written about in this blog. *** In the case of police, there have been many different groups working on the issues--directly or indirectly. And there have been stories of competition between them, for more than one reason! If I've said I'm working for police/X-men, it still hasn't been identified exactly WHICH police are involved; and I don't work for any female representatives of theirs [sorry to say it]! There have been no other female parties identified publicly besides the Betty/Elizabeth person--not to my knowledge [and if she uses the Betty/Elizabeth names appropriately, then I'd prefer to distance myself from then--until and unless they want to show they refer to the "theatre" name, which I've written about before].

Criminal Issues--2005--Part 3

If it hasn't been understood, by now, I can state for the record that my arrest in 2005 was built up from an arrest in 1999. In 1999, there was a charge of criminal harassment, along with a charge for breaching a condition [something like a breach of probation, except this was before I went to court]. It was actually called a "Breach of Undertaking"--the Undertaking was a document signed by a police officer. In 2005, there was one charge of criminal harassment. The special duty counsel who assisted me in court on a particular day in 2005 made an argument to the judge that the reasons for my behaviour [which got me arrested] were much different than any previous behaviour.--These actions were because of a "commercial interest" in a specific matter. And I felt the duty counsel's comments were correct. Anyway, the judge had his comments to make and things went on from there....

Criminal Issues--2005--Part 2

As far as movies listed in the previous entry [Part 1--June 2009] go, I haven't expected that everyone was going to be able to see them all. But write-ups can be found on the Internet. If anyone has a serious interest in this entire matter, it's not that difficult to go through a few films--whether by viewing them or reading about them somewhat! Some people might have already seen one or more of them. At the very least, people shouldn't scoff if they haven't done enough research! [Would that be fair to say?]

What Was Up With The Parents?

A reliable witness told me in Belleville in about 2003-2004 that she heard I had said homosexuality was the fault of parents. [If anyone would like the name of the witness, they can ask me privately.--Won't give the name here.] And I certainly didn't mean to be interpreted in that way! The idea had come from a comment in a telephone message, mentioned in a separate entry, but it wasn't what I meant. There's some research--by competent counsellors--which shows that a lack from a same-sex parent while growing up can be a significant, contributing factor. However, it's not the only one. And when people reach an adult age, they have to be responsible for their own behaviour and not to blame their parents! [Right?] Parents do the best they know how. I'm not a professional counsellor to explain this matter. *** As I've already stated earlier, my landlady's parents were involved in her life quite a bit; and she made a point of introducing me to them. She also seemed to have quite mixed feelings about them--including by making derogatory comments [about her parents] when I had barely met her. And when I was moving out, my landlady's father told me he knew he wasn't perfect; and I accepted it. No problem from me!

Chaos and Control--II

The thing about offensive and defensive counterintelligence being different is that they're actually handled by two, different agencies or government offices!

Chaos and Control

So, how about the "Get Smart" movies and TV shows??? I saw some of the original episodes when I was young but haven't really followed them since. [Can remember the "Maxwell Smart" character--kind of a goofy guy!?] Recently, have been able to read something on the Internet, as anyone can do. A regular, female character is "Agent 99," whose real name was never used--at least in the original TV series? The series was a parody of the "James Bond" shows. [Have seen James Bond when I was young, also, and haven't continued to follow the TV shows or films.] The fictional James Bond was a secret agent. In Get Smart, a secret American counter-intelligence agency was called CONTROL [at a fictional address, 123 Main Street]. Their enemy was an evil organization called KAOS. Isn't it true that new ideas and situations cause a certain amount of chaos and have to be balanced by "control"? Evil is evil but even good progress can cause upheaval and may need limits--like the industrial revolution, the age of technology, and things like genetic engineering!?--Just to give some examples. *** Have been doing some Internet research and it seems that in real life there's a difference between "offensive counterintelligence" and "defensive counterintelligence." There's a lot to study,if anyone wants to!--And am not planning to go through it all, myself! In Canada, we also have "security intelligence" and "law enforcement intelligence." But some of the police and security agencies can work together, at times. [Okay, whatever!] *** The original Get Smart television series ran from 1965-1969.

Accusers and Complainers vs. Hope

There seems to be new evidence coming up all the time! An interesting film is "The Uninvited," from 1944. A female character is described in later literature as a caricature of a lesbian. I wonder if the character also represents a woman--a particular one [currently]--in the gay rights project!? And the character had been running a "sanitorium." "Oh, there are no patients--just 'guests,'" she said. They get to look at nice art and listen to music.... Is there any connection with my situation??? With my forced ties to the hospital? And is there anything I haven't answered, by now??? *** If there were misunderstandings about my life after 1975, a certain woman damaged my reputation and influence further with her own, false stories! And she's never been held accountable, so far! [What would be the odds that her male associates would demand accountability from her--am just wondering!?] Well, there have been many parties involved, for sure! *** Have written earlier that the woman above didn't have good business skills. It's easy enough for uninformed and misinformed people to continue to promote her interests--to make complaints against me, etc. My situation has been very delicate! And there have been no retractions or apologies from people who have worked against me--including from the woman. But they sit back and criticize, I'm sure! If they're not aware of what else is going on--through no fault of mine--they're not willing to support further efforts. The comment has even been made that I should, "Forgive and forget."--! Should I forget everything??? Drop this whole business? [Is it up to me?] It's not that I need to hold grudges against anyone. Maybe it's up to my supporters to show whether or not they really want to support me!? [And I'm contacting them through official channels.] *** Was there someone who said, "Without vision, the people perish"? Does anyone have a vision here??? Can we find some hope for a cause?

Doctor Under Scrutiny--VI

Have made a few comments earlier about a movie, "Doc Hollywood," from 1991. And I believe it applies [symbolically] to the gay rights project! There was an elderly doctor in the film, as well as a young one. Sometimes one was right, sometimes the other one was! [Which are better, new ideas or old? Or is there some value in both? Or sometimes one side has more knowledge, or experience; and other times, the other side has more.] We're working on the issues!

They Haven't Maintained Connections!?

Have seen evidence to suggest that people in my home town were given information about homosexuality from the USA in the 1960s, if not before, and nobody has bothered to get any updates since!? The old information associated homosexuality with issues like bestiality, pedophilia, and polygamy. But if we want to be fair, I don't think we can associate these problems with individual gays in our contacts with them!? The Homosexuals Anonymous group has found that homosexuality isn't one of the worst sins listed in the Bible, and it's not the lightest.--It's somewhere in the middle, or so. *** Have probably mentioned a film from the early 1990s before--"A River Runs Through It." It's about a Christian pastor's family. The story is mainly about the two sons; and one is very restless and unsettled. The restless son isn't described as gay but the meaning could be understood. This boy came to a violent end at a young age. I think the situation could be compared to a hate crime. The father made a meaningful comment at the funeral, at the end of the film. Don't want to give away all the details but the meaning was that we can have compassion even if we don't understand all about other people!? Isn't that what Christians are called to do? [It doesn't mean we have to accept bad behaviour, in some cases, but we're required to have a forgiving attitude. Am referring to other situations besides homosexuality, also.] For the record, I've seen this movie for sale in the stores within the past few years, if anyone would like to look it up. [It was produced and sold on the regular market and not a Christian one. And most films are available somewhere for sale, rental, or viewing.]

Not Just a Kids' Show

Last night, a special documentary was aired for the 20th anniversary of "The Simpsons" TV series. The Simpsons is an animated show but it's not just for children. Someone said it was "social satire." It's also being shown in 90 countries around the world. *** An anniversary episode was shown as well. Krusty the Clown--KC--almost got married to his new co-host but it didn't work out. Homer and some co-worker friends almost got hired by another company. Mr. Burns had cut off the donut supply at the plant but then he offered even better donuts than before. *** In Scotland, it seems they have some friendly rivalry about the history of the "Groundskeeper Willie" character.

Some Wanted My Help...

Recently, I said it seemed to be the most homophobic Christians who were working together with aggressive gays [not to say they're all aggressive]. And I wondered if either side really wanted to make progress--true progress--and to resolve something? Have had my doubts!? Now, I realize there may also be Christians who are hypercritical and in denial about themselves; and maybe they don't want real answers? If some people, whether Christian or not, are very careless and frivolous I'm sure their efforts will fall by the wayside. They won't prosper--not for long. However, I've remembered that some writers and/or their associates [advisors] have said they wanted to stir things up--especially in order that they could get help and resolve this business!!!??? They wanted to attract attention, even if it was negative! Their "acting up" was a cry for help--whether for gay issues or for business--in other words. *** It's possible that not all of the aggressive people want help. And some Christians who are indulgent towards gays or who seem to be indifferent about the issues may resist real progress. But I feel prepared at this time to go forward.--I want to deal with all the issues which need to be dealt with. [This will include legal issues and dealing with parties who have been mistaken in their actions or beliefs.] *** It may not be easy. I always have to use caution! And I'm not sure how long it will take--how many more "layers" will there be? But I'll take some steps today.

Detroit Story

As seen in other entries with the same label, there was a real-life concern from the city of Detroit which came up. That was in 1966/67. At the time, my uncle's family had a policeman neighbour near them. My uncle and the policeman used to speak to each other. The name of the street began with "Mack" letters. [The letters have been significant.] The "Beverly Hills Cop" movies--3 of them to my knowledge--have been relevant, I believe; and they were about a Detroit police officer who went to Beverly Hills to find out some information. The stories were fictional but I believe there were some real details, or references to real life, in them. *** As I've written elsewhere in this blog, my parents and I weren't aware that anything about my life was being marketed before I was 18 years of age or more. And I don't believe people--any people--had a right to make judgments for commercial or political purposes. They were allowed to tell what they saw, more or less, although even brief or temporary events might not have told the whole story about anything!? For any of these people to continue making judgments--especially at this time--isn't appropriate, in my opinion. They could communicate with me directly, if they wish to. *** If anyone has said they wanted me to influence the gay rights project for their particular purposes, it might or might not be a realistic expectation! And especially not if they had those expectations before I was even a legal age! In other words, if anyone marketed my life with expectations for the future, I think we'd all need to examine and re-examine everything in the context of the big picture!? Have tried to be helpful and have mostly given my views, by now. But it's always easier to be destructive than to make constructive efforts; and it's not fair for some people--as above or elsewhere--to be allowed to continue making libelous comments about my life and activities! *** We'll be working on the issues!--I hope we'll continue making progress.
