Notice for New Readers

If new readers are interested in my former, landlord/tenant matter, they should go to the Labels in the sidebar and click on the link for this subject.  That would provide the most convenient information.  Thank you.

Accessing My Pamphlet

If anybody is interested in the pamphlet which I had earlier written for my church, and any other interested people, I'll give the dates where the pages can be found in the Archives....  Unfortunately, the blog isn't letting me add a new Label at this time.

The first five pages are found on November 1, 2021; and then there are an update and an amendment added on January 25, and April 25, 2022.  The Archives are listed in a sidebar on the left-hand side of the blog.  I believe it's possible to print the pamphlet pages, if people wish to.

We're Discussing Things

Obviously, nothing happened with a public news story for the special police project this past Halloween.  Some of the police parties and I are discussing what we're going to do from here....  It may take a little time?  I'll give an update if and when something comes up.

Self-Interest and Theatrics

In my Waterlily Story III blog, I wrote earlier that the special police project for LGBTQs was a humanitarian project....  However, I also wrote there was money being earned; and that the police and their firefighter friends were connected to Hollywood....  Unless something significant happens within the next few days, I'm going to have to say that the project is being mismanaged and that the parties are looking out for self-interest and a theatrical show....  The humanitarian concerns have taken a back seat, if they're there at all...?

Some parties who are more sensible haven't been willing to come forward so far, for some reason, although all of them might not be allowed to, at this time?  Some of them make discreet comments to me; and I have contact on Facebook and elsewhere....

It is said that "A chain is no stronger than its weakest link," but in this case the chain itself is looking pretty bad, for the most part?  I feel sorry to see this.  Am I rushing things?  I know I've worked pretty hard, in the past six months or so--and I've been getting exhausted from my previous work--and we should be ready to go public....

My Summary--continued

In case any of my church people need me to clarify about what I said about the Bible, I'll do that.  I do believe in the Bible, myself, first of all.  God created the Earth, and a male and a female--and He said His work was very good....  Then afterwards, sin came into the world....

In Romans 9:20, it talks about complaining against God....  I don't completely understand the situation but it's some kind of spiritual reasoning, it seems....  In Galatians 3:28, it says:  "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female:  for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."  It doesn't really mean that male and female are done away with, but it's just emphasizing we should all live for God....  Is that fair to say?  But the distinctions of life don't really matter as much, after Jesus came to the earth and died for us.  Can I say that?  [Did the apostle Paul also say that it was good to be single, if possible, as he was?  Concentrate on serving the Lord.]

Before a Christian person accepts a sex change, I believe they should explore all their other options....  And as I said, parents could talk to their under-age children....  If people still can't find help and they want to insist that they belong to another gender, who am I to object?  [And parents could assist their child in dealing with the professionals....]  The advice of experts is that if the change begins earlier in life, it works better....  So, if the family would accept this matter and show as much support as they can after the change....  Do their best with what's available....

[For the record, I'm glad I'm a woman and had a child.  It was a miraculous thing and a wonderful experience....  My romantic life has been kind of in shambles, in the past 20 years and more; but I had love before then....  There's the love of family and friends, also.  And I'm trying to get my work accomplished, of course--resolving the special police project--which isn't only my work.]

My Summary of Transgender Issues

My church allows transgender people into church membership if they're willing to abide by the moral standards--which means no sexual activities outside of marriage, and only heterosexual marriage is allowed.  I don't wish to debate anything further with my church.

Myself, I've seen that the Bible says this and that, and it can be used to support various views.  Generally, my church believes we should take the full Bible in context...but even then it's possible to get some support for non-binary and maybe transgender people, in my opinion....  Anyway, the public and even many Christians don't care so much about the Bible any more....

The human rights laws refer to "human dignity;" and I believe we should treat the trans and non-binary people with this quality.  We're all human beings and everyone wants to be treated with fairness and decency.

Also, I can make choices for my own life but can't choose for anyone else--not even if I had an under-aged child or children at home....

The helping professions, like medical people and social workers, have sometimes been accused of promoting transgender options aggressively for a monetary interest.  It's increased business for them!?  But I wish they would try to work with what is best for each of their patients or clients; and every person needs to make an effort to stand up for themselves and their interests.  Parents should also work with their under-age children, as far as possible.

[Have read or heard that men are generally left-brain oriented, which gives them an emphasis in logical reasoning; and it's their natural tendency to want to accomplish things--it's their main priority, unless they make a conscious effort to think differently.  And women are generally right-brain oriented, which has a tendency to make them emotional-thinkers; and their first focus is on relationships, including family....  It used to be that most women stayed home to raise the family while the husband and father went to work.  Now, a lot of women go to work also, and that's good and often necessary...but I think it makes the distinctions between men and women less clear...!?  I believe we'll continue to see non-binary and perhaps transgender people in our society.  Some non-binary people want to say they're superior to males and females but I don't think that's fair either.  We need to learn how to get along together.]

Not For Forcing Change, But To Show Support...

Was just reading that the American Psychological Association had earlier disapproved of attempts to change anyone's sexual orientation, and more recently disapproved of attempts to change anyone's gender identity....  What I was referring to in my blog was the opportunity for parents to talk to their under-age children and youths at home....  Not for demanding change but just for showing support and asking to know what the issues are...?  Perhaps the children wouldn't all be able to explain but I believe some of them could....  If some issues could get resolved, it'd be preferable.  Anything is worth a try, in my opinion!

[For example, one transgender man said that when he was little, his mother used to make him wear dresses which had scratchy tags on them.  He/she was physically uncomfortable!  And I've heard of a girl who wore "scratchy tights."  We should be able to find comfortable clothing for different occasions....  Of course, there may be a little more than this in transgender issues, but it might start with small things, for all we know!?]
