Sometimes when I feel stuck or frustrated with the special police project, I make a charitable donation on behalf of the project--it's in my own name but it's in addition to the personal donations that I make. The donations are just token payments--they're not very large--but this week I made a donation which was larger than usual. I gave money to the Adventist Development and Relief Agency/ADRA. Have given money to them before, on behalf of the police project, and I've also given to the Scott Mission in Toronto on their behalf.
Have read in a book about business earlier that sometimes it's good to give charitable donations from the business.... I know it helps me feel better and things usually continue to move along. The donation is solid evidence that I believe in what I'm doing; and it's good to consider that other people, besides the ones in our cause, need assistance also.
