When I went to the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal hearing at the beginning, I wasn't thinking about romance with a man but in between the hearing cases, there was flirting that happened--and it wasn't initiated by me! But I was fairly flattered and I became attracted.... [And I had no knowledge of the other party's marital status.] There was no further opportunity at the time to follow up on the situation and I ended up moving away....
It was the standard practise for adjudicators to write up an order after every hearing and sometimes disputes arose over the orders, which happened in my case. There were a number of letters and applications sent to various individuals and adjudicators at the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal, some of them in different cities.... The process was continuing on fairly smoothly and the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal gave me permission to proceed....
In the meantime, I ended up sending a few personal letters to the man that I was attracted to; and I wrote about both personal and business matters, the business I intended to discuss for personal reasons only....
It turned out that this man had a conflict-of-interest with my case because of his sexual orientation and he'd become personally offended on account of my business.... Instead of removing himself from my case, he became spiteful towards me without telling me what was happening.... He did things behind my back....
