Earlier in this blog, I've referred to the secret police project as a "charity project" to help gay people.... I had a reason to believe that some money was being made, also, because there was a connection with film/TV people.... And, myself, I've expected to get paid as well. However, after considering this matter further, I'm wondering if the money-making part is a little out of balance...?
The police and firefighters have at least a couple of lawyers who are advising them.... And I understand that all the parties in the police project were given freedom to do whatever they wanted to, without much accountability.... And the project was referred to as the "Great Game"...!
My part in this business hasn't been frivolous or only economic; and I've been in very serious circumstances. And I've wanted to hep the LGBTQ+ people and issues because I was asked to help and people close to me have wanted to help [and my criminal situation had an effect also]....
At this point, we can make a choice if we're going ahead to try to earn more money or if it'd be better for the LGBTQ+ people and concerns if the police project was publicized...? I'd like to remind the police that "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." As far as money goes, they could make their pay-outs now instead of increasing their income which they'll collect "some day!" There's a certain group of police who were in charge of making money and I think they should seriously consider what they want to do...? They wanted to go public at Halloween and if they miss this year, they may be waiting for another year, or more?
If money-making was an ELEMENT of the secret police project, I can accept that. But I don't believe money should be more important than the people and issues involved....
