Delaying My Business

The police don't want me to take any longer than necessary to wrap up this business but I've wanted to make sure I was thorough and didn't have people coming back to me in a few weeks or few months asking for something....  That's why I'm trying to be careful and to handle everything now--while I have to be reasonable and give the parties opportunities to think and to respond....  And if the parties respond with spite, then I know they're not on the right track....  But I'm hopeful that we're going to be understanding each other better....
