Competing or Cooperating???

Have written before that someone had suggested for the police to compete among themselves--aside from the police/fire competition already--in the past decades....  And it spurred things on when they might've otherwise been slow....  But I've said if the parties ever want to get anywhere now, they really need to cooperate with each other....  Maybe I'm hurting their male egos and being a party-pooper?  ***  It's kind of like they're running a race and then someone comes along and says, "Now why don't you all join hands and cross the finish line together...?"  It's not the typical thing to do!  But I think they need some other way to give out the prizes and the recognition, whatever....  Or the parties who've accomplished the most will be recognized the most in the official film, perhaps....  There just has to be a way that we can get things done.--And I can't see it happening by the competition continuing...?  It's like a chair or a stool with three or four legs.--They can't succeed without each other!  ***  Anyway, some of the police are getting together already, and I'm supporting them....  We just have some stragglers...and they're not small police groups....  I haven't wanted to identify the police groups specifically and I'm not going to embarrass them....  ***  Let's go guys...!  And I think they might surprise us yet...!?  [You never know!?]  And I'm sorry to have to ask for a change but I don't see any other way...!
