Blog Comments

Any comments posted will have to be approved by myself, when I have time....  I normally go to the public library to use a computer.  If the comments are approved, then they'll become visible under the posts.  Thank you.

Update for New Readers

My former landlord/tenant matter and all that it involved was very complicated....  The Province of Ontario and I both made mistakes; and I'm sorry for my part, and have made amends as far as possible....  Some stories circulating were true but some were not....

It's still controversial about what the police are doing because they haven't made anything public yet....  They've been a smaller group--but over a wide area--who are mostly gay or bi-sexual....  I believe they'll go public when they're ready, God willing.

In the sidebar of this blog, there's a list of Labels and an Archive.  People can choose if they'd like to read more....

NOTE ADDED ON April 22, 2022:  It might sound sensational or outrageous to say that the police in the special project for LGBTQs have been involved with film/TV people....  Okay....  I'll let these police tell their story, along with some firefighter friends, when they're ready to....

NOTE ADDED ON June 10, 2022:  Will state briefly that the police in the special project have mostly worked for LGBTQ+ rights, along with their civilian associates, but they've also had an interest in showing some support for abortion rights.

There is No War Here

Would like to apologize for something I said within the past few months when I was talking to some police....  I said the special police project had been a war against discrimination against the LGBTQs--and I was concerned the war was still continuing....  And I shouldn't have said "a war."--I should've said it was SOMETHING "like a war."  But it's not a war.  No.  Please, let's understand.

As I've written in this blog, I've been in contact with my church's headquarters in the USA....  They have a team of lawyers working for them.  I have a limited amount of time to spend on the Internet at the public library, and I've read things here and there....   I've also said before that I think it's preferable for my church, and other conservative Christians, to agree to things voluntarily than to have practices forced on them....  And I was concerned about some Canadian lawmakers getting ideas from the Americans....

Anyway, the police and their associates in the special project have been allowed to be "flexible" with the laws...and I, myself, have been the main "hostage."  I've had some freedom and my life hasn't been all bad (sometimes it's been quite good--very good even)....  Police have said they have money for me....  Except for possible legal problems for churches in North America--and I'm trying to avoid them--I don't believe anything bad is going to happen.  "All is well"--like a motivational speaker said.  Nobody else is going to suffer; and other countries won't be forced to cooperate.

My health has been under stress, but police have said my son should get my money if anything happens to me.  I'd be satisfied with that.  I'm glad I've had something to contribute to society....  I've been the "hostage" and I can say that!

Sorry if my past words frightened anyone.  I didn't mean for that to happen.  And I'll be more careful with what I say from now on.

Information from 2013...

Have had time for a quick look on the Internet today....  It seems the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association was supposed to be printed in 2013.  It was to contain eight conditions of "paraphilic disorders"--unusual sexual interests.  The conditions were to be listed if there was distress caused to the patient themselves, or if there was a threat to others in society....  [A threat to their well-being in any way.]  Otherwise, the APA said most people with unusual sexual interests don't have a mental disorder.

The APA website stated that the fifth edition Manual had taken 14 years to process, if I understood correctly.....  So, the previous one was printed in 1999?  Anyway, maybe some Christians need to update their information...from 2013, if not before...?

They've Been Smart People, but Misinformed...

There have been prominent Christian leaders and politicians--both within my church and elsewhere--during the past 10 years, who have spoken publicly to associate homosexuality or gay marriage with bestiality and polygamy....  I don't think this was fair....  [The more I've looked into it, the more I've found out....  But I don't want to name any names.]  Anybody can make a mistake, and I believe we need better information to come out now...!  [Even smart people make mistakes.]

To Recap

Would like to recap from my previous post that if a gay couple are able to function in society--to hold a job and be responsible citizens--and they're not hurting anybody, they're not suffering from any "mental illness."  I believe it's completely reasonable to say that homosexuality is not a psychiatric illness.  The other "disorders" which were mentioned, are hurting others...and it's reasonable to say that they're a problem....

My own circumstances have been unusual; and I've been encouraged to help gays and transsexuals...and my earnings may depend on it....  I could be biased, in other words...but I sincerely believe that I've been writing the truth....  I don't say things if I don't mean them.

Am Just Wondering...?

A number of decades ago, there was a quotation from somewhere which associated pedophilia, bestiality, polygamy, and homosexuality with each other....  Am not sure where this quotation came from but I've heard different people referring to it within the past 10 years, or so....

Would like to ask if these comparisons are fair???  I think bestiality and polygamy aren't so relevant; and there may be a few gays who are pedophiles but there are also heterosexual men who are pedophiles....  I think it's an irrational fear to say that all gays may be pedophiles--or even to raise that suggestion...!

A while ago, I heard of a story--maybe from the 1960s I think?--where a pastor found out a church member was a homosexual.  And the pastor announced during the church services that so-and-so was a homosexual, and people should beware and keep their children away from him.  I think that was an awful thing to happen!  The pastor was quite ignorant about homosexuality, at the time....  But it has taken our society time to understand these matters....

Have read on the Internet that the American Psychiatric Association used to list 30 categories of sexual orientation in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, including pedophilia, masochism, sadism, and zoophilia (bestiality).  But these kinds of attractions have since been re-classified as mental disorders....  It was in the 1970s, I believe, when homosexuality was no longer seen as a psychiatric illness; and I believe that's correct....  There may be some psychological issues, as I've written before, but they're not mental illness....

The above kinds of ideas have developed in a time of ignorance and misinformation....  I hope that people can be sensible; and make an effort to understand and be fair....  Some individuals may need to search their minds and their memories to see where their views have come from...?  Am just wondering...?  [Not to accuse any specific parties....]

A Letter Received

Would like to report that I received a nice letter from my church headquarters in the USA yesterday.  It was written a few weeks earlier and took time to travel.  The letter was written by an assistant of the president of the world headquarters.  The person remarked that they appreciated something about my first letter that I sent.  They didn't agree with everything but they were kind....

This letter was apparently written before my third letter was sent....  I don't know if they'll still send another response, or not...?  Anyway, I was happy to receive this letter.  If I get more support from the police, I may be able to contact the church again with further discussion about the discrimination issues...?
